What this measures

Read change alongside its time separation and qualifying-game support. The same endpoint change can span very different calendar periods. Separate rounding of source delta and endpoint composites can cause small differences; neither measure establishes a current streak or a per-day improvement rate.

02 / Calculation

Recomputed endpoint change = last - first, using the published rounded composites. Relative endpoint change = (last - first) / abs(first). Published endpoint change copies source delta, rounded separately; it can differ from the recomputation. Days between window ends = last_date - first_date in UTC calendar days. Qualifying minutes copies qual_minutes.

Published 15 largest risers and 15 largest fallers from 562 eligible movers, pooled 2023-24 through 2025-26.

Endpoint dates are the end dates of retained windows, not the full observation period. Calendar separation can include offseason or injury gaps; qualifying games and minutes cover all games meeting the source floor. Endpoint windows can overlap. Raw box composites do not adjust for role or opponent, and this is not a forecast.
